Passive Ability

Chill Zone:

All pets within 15.48 studs won`t lose hunger and will gain 3.48xp every second.

How to get

Overview

The Capybara is an obtainable legendary pet released in the Summer Update.

How It Works

Chill Zone: All pets within ~15.5 studs won't lose hunger and will gain ~3XP every second before aging.

The boost increases as the Capybara ages.

Capybara Value

Wondering how much Capybara is worth? Below is the current market value for the pet and its Huge variant.

Value
375

Best For

  • AFK pet leveling with no hunger management needed
  • Rapid XP farming with 3.65 XP/s per pet in range
  • Multi-Capybara stacking for 30-40+ XP/second boost
  • Pet Mutation Update preparation (requires Level 100 pets)

Pro Strategies

Optimal Capybara Stacking Method

  • Position 7-8 Capybaras in a tight cluster for maximum XP stacking:
  • 1. Clear your garden - Store all non-essential pets to focus on leveling
  • 2. Create tight formation - Place each Capybara within 15.48 studs of your target pet
  • 3. Use macro assistance - Set up auto-clicker to reposition pets that drift away. 4. Scale with levels - At Level 100, each Capybara provides ~5 XP/second. This method achieves 40+ XP/second compared to 3.5 XP/second from Blood Owl setups.

Strategic Positioning for Coverage

  • Place Capybara centrally to maximize the 15.48-stud radius effect:
  • Central placement covers the most pets simultaneously
  • Stack multiple Capybaras in same area for exponential XP gains
  • Monitor pet movement - Use pet menu to reposition if they wander. Target high-value pets like Disco Bee or T-Rex for mutations. Unlike Blood Owl, Capybara works even on hungry pets.

Alternatives

budget: **[Blood Owl](/pets/bloodowl/)** + **[Moth](/pets/moth/)** combo

Cost: Event pets vs 50M Sheckles

Tradeoff: Global 0.53 XP/s but requires hunger management vs localized 3.65 XP/s with no hunger loss

Common Mistakes

  • Placing Capybara too far from target pets (15.48-stud limit)
  • Not stacking multiple Capybaras for exponential XP gains
  • Letting pets wander outside the Chill Zone radius
  • Using single Capybara when community considers it 'mid' for the cost
  • Forgetting that ability scales with Capybara's level (higher level = more XP)

Advanced Tips

  • Level 100 Capybaras trade for 700T+ Sheckle in current market
  • Use auto-clicker macros to maintain tight pet positioning
  • Capybara Method outperforms Blood Owl by 8x XP output
  • Stack with Starfish for even faster self-leveling combinations
  • Essential for Pet Mutation Update - only Level 100 pets can use Mutation Machine

Appearance

The appearance of the Capybara is quite simple. It has a large head and snout as well as a chubby body. It has little feet as well as small ears on the top of its head. It's a cocoa-colored brown with darker brown ears, front of its snout, and bottom of its feet. Each of its feet have three small toes on it. The front of its snout also has a smile.

Please relocate any relevant information into other sections of the article.

1. Ability is always active. Once another pet gets close to the Capybara, they will immediately gain extra XP per second, and they will not lose hunger.

2. Unlike how Owls work, the Capybara's ability affects pets with no hunger remaining.

3. Capybara's ability will stack with other capybaras if they are in the same area of effect.

4. Before zen update part 2. Capybara's ability stop from time to time when either having multiple players. or when unequipping and equipping pets. As of now it has been fixed.
