Overview

The Beanstalk Event is an active event introduced in Update 1.19.0 of *Grow a Garden*, which also brought the Garden Guide and Fence Skins feature. This unique event marks the first time a specific crop - the Beanstalk - takes center stage.

The event revolves around collaborative beanstalk cultivation where players submit different plant varieties to Jack, the event NPC.

Jack maintains dynamic plant requests and showcases a competitive leaderboard tracking individual player contributions. Top contributors earn enhanced rewards during the climbing phase.

Once the Beanstalk achieves maximum height, players enjoy a 20-minute window before the structure decays and the cycle restarts.

Climbing Rewards System

Shimmering Green Orbs are scattered throughout the Beanstalk during ascension. Players can collect these orbs for various rewards, with quantities based on their contribution ranking. Note that leaving and rejoining resets contribution points, requiring fresh participation for reward eligibility.

Golden Beanstalk Variant

Introduced in Update 1.20.0, there's a rare possibility of encountering a Golden Beanstalk. This special variant features hollow leaves, presents greater climbing challenges, and offers superior rewards from orbs.

Beanstalk Growth

The massive Beanstalk Tree develops through collaborative plant submissions to Jack, the dedicated event NPC. Jack continuously updates his plant requirements while maintaining a dynamic leaderboard showcasing contribution rankings.

Players achieving the highest point totals receive enhanced rewards during the climbing experience. The fully grown beanstalk extends skyward, providing access to the mystical Cloud Island.

Portal Mechanics: After contributing to beanstalk development 6 times, players unlock portal transportation. Manual climbing remains available regardless of portal status, with rewards collected throughout the ascent.

Bean Fence Achievement: Successfully nurturing the beanstalk through 10 growth cycles rewards players with the exclusive Bean Fence cosmetic item.

Contributor Rewards

These valuable rewards are obtained from luminous green orbs encountered during beanstalk climbing after contributing to its growth. Players with superior contribution levels receive increased orb quantities and enhanced reward probabilities.

These enhanced rewards are exclusive to the rare Golden Beanstalk variant. Players who contribute to golden beanstalk growth collect superior rewards from special golden orbs. Top contributors receive additional orbs with improved drop rates and quantities.

Goliath's Goods

Goliath's Goods is accessed by scaling the fully grown Beanstalk and conversing with the Giant NPC on the Cloud Island. Players can alternatively utilize the portal after contributing to beanstalk growth 6 times.

This exclusive shop automatically restocks every 60 minutes. Manual restocking is available starting at 500,000 Grow a Garden Sheckle, with costs tripling after each purchase. The pricing follows the formula: 500,000 × 3^(Manual Restocks).

Manual restock pricing undergoes daily resets at 12:00 AM UTC. Players can purchase unlimited manual restocks, though expenses escalate dramatically with each use.

Friendship Shop

The Friendship Shop becomes available after reaching Friendship Level 1 with the Giant. Players advance friendship levels by feeding various food items to the Giant, with different rarities providing different point values: Common food awards 1 point, while Transcendent rarity food provides 8 points.

Friendship progression requires: Level 1 needs 20 points, Level 2 needs 30 points, continuing up to Level 6 which requires 80 points. Higher friendship levels unlock more exclusive and valuable items in this special shop.

Crafting Recipes

The Beanstalk Event introduces exclusive crafting recipes available through the Crafting Table. These recipes combine Beanstalk crops with other event items to create unique rewards and cosmetics. Each recipe requires specific materials and Grow a Garden Sheckle, with crafting times ranging from 15 to 60 minutes.
